Buckwheat Dosa

CRISPY Instant Dosa for those craving Dosa during Fasts 😀

Cooking-45 mins, Makes 4 Dosas (depending upon the Dosa size)

Ingredients for Dosa :

  1. 1/2 cup Buckwheat flour
  2. Less than 1/4 cup Water

Ingredients for Stuffing :

  1. Boiled & mashed (you can dice into small pieces) Medium-sized 2 Potatoes
  2. 1 Radish
  3. 1 small Tomatoes
  4. Water
  5. Condiments use as per taste (Asafoetida, Sea Salt, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Cumin Powder, Caraway, Fennel Seeds Powder, Cloves)

Spread / Chutney : Coconut & Tamarind Chutney

How to prepare Dosas :

  1. Whisk Buckwheat, condiments and add sufficient water for Dosa-like consistency
  2. Keep it aside for 10 mins
  3. Drizzle oil on a non-stick pan and spread a Ladle of batter
  4. Roast both the sides and similarly prepare remaining Dosas

How to prepare Filling or Veggie stuffing :

  1. Heat oil in a Wok
  2. Add condiments, tomatoes & sprinkle some water
  3. Sauté it for 3 mins until tomatoes & oil separates
  4. Add potatoes and radish & stir well
  5. Cover it & cook
  6. Stir every 5 mins to avoid filling sticking to the Wok
  7. Cook until they are tender

How to Serve :

  1. Take a serving dish
  2. Place a Dosa, Veggie stuffing & chutney
  3. You can either wrap the Dosa OR keep it as Tortilla allowing Guests to fill the Veggie & spread as desired
  4. Serve hot or at room temperature and Enjoy !!!?
