⏰ Prep Time : 10 mins, 🍲 Air fry Time : 15 mins, 🍴 Servings : 12 small kachoris
🌾 Ingredients for Buckwheat Hazelnut Kachori :
- Buckwheat flour : ½ cup
- Coconut flour : ¼ cup
- Coconut Milk powder : ¼ cup
- Baking Powder : ½ tsp
- Baking Soda : ¼ tsp
- Pure Ghee / Oil : 2 tbsp + ½ tsp for greasing each
- Demerara Sugar : ¼ cup
- Cardamom Powder : ½ tsp
- Salt : A pinch
- Milk (any / dairy-free) : ¼ cup or enough to combine
- For Stuffing : ¼ cup chopped nuts / Hazelnuts & Dates
- Grated Hazelnuts : 1 tbsp
♨️ Preparing Buckwheat Hazelnut Kachori :
- Sift buckwheat flour, baking soda & powder
- Now add coconut flour & milk powder, cardamom powder, salt, sugar and pure ghee
- Mix well and gradually add milk to form a dough, do not over-knead it
- Allow the dough rest for 10 mins
- Let’s make small balls from the dough and flatten them
- Put some chopped nuts and again form a ball
- Grease the balls and place it on a baking tray
- Preheat air fryer @ 180° C for 5 mins
- Place the baking tray and Air fry @ 140° C for 15 mins or until skewer comes out clean
- Remove baking tray from air fryer and let kachori cool on a wired rack
🍽 Assembling Buckwheat Hazelnut Kachori :
- Take a serving plate
- Place the cooled dry fruits on the plate
- Garnish with chopped dates
- Grate hazelnuts and enjoy the Navratri with a healthy delight
