Buckwheat Polenta

SOFT yet CRUNCHY Polenta with a twist. Let’s celebrate Fasting the Italian Way !

Prep / Cooking time-30 mins, Serves-2

Ingredients :

  1. 1 cup Buckwheat Polenta
  2. 1/2 cup Water
  3. 1/2 cup Milk or thick Yogurt
  4. Less than 1/4 cup Canola Oil
  5. Condiments use as per taste (Asafoetida, Sea Salt, Turmeric Powder, Coriander Powder, Black Pepper Powder, Cumin Powder, Caraway, Fennel Seeds Powder, Cloves)

How to prepare Polenta :

  1. Whisk Water, Milk or curd &Canola Oil until well incorporated
  2. Add Buckwheat Polenta and condiments (you may avoid if you don’t like any)
  3. Grease a baking dish of any design
  4. Pour the batter into it
  5. Microwave @ high for 6-7 mins or until skewer comes out clean
  6. Cool it and cut in desired shapes
  7. Serve at room temperature with Yogurt as desired
