🍫Chocolate Self-saucing Brownie

Bored with old-fashioned cakes & muffins 😒. Try ‘Ch🅾️colate self-saucing 🅱️rownie’ silky molten fudgy texture with a pool of warm 🍫chocolate sauce which is eggless, butter-less & lactose-free.

⏰ Prep Time : 10 mins, 🍲 Air fry Time : 30, 🍴 Servings : 6

🌾 Ingredients for Chocolate Self-saucing Brownie :

Dry ingredients :

  • Semolina (grind into powder) : ½ cup
  • Demerara Sugar (any) : ½ cup + ¼ cup
  • Cinnamon Powder : 1 tsp
  • Cacao Powder : ¼ cup
  • Baking Powder : ½ tsp
  • Baking Soda : ¼ tsp

Wet ingredients :

  • Water : ½ cup
  • Vanilla Essence : 1 tsp
  • Canola Oil : 2 tbsp + 1 tsp for greasing

Sauce :

  • Sugar : ¼ cup
  • Cacao Powder : ¼ cup
  • Boiling Water : ¼ cup

♨️ Preparing Chocolate Self-saucing Brownie :

  1. In 2 separate bowls mix wet and dry ingredients nicely
  2. Gradually incorporate wet into dry to make a thick yet flowy batter, do not overmix
  3. Grease a casserole or any cake tin & pour the batter
  4. Mix cacao powder & sugar, & sprinkle generously over the batter
  5. Now take boiling water & pour on batter very gently
  6. Preheat air fryer @ 150° C for 5 mins & place the tin in it
  7. Air fry @ 140° C for 30 mins or until cooked, you may observe liquid at the bottom & this is exactly what we are looking for – a hot bubbly sauce
  8. Remove tin from air fryer, cool on a wired rack

🍽 Assembling Chocolate Self-saucing Brownie :

  1. Simply scoop the brownie
  2. Serve with warm sauce, you can top it with an ice-cream, either ways it tastes divine 🤗
