🍩 Donuts Modak

⏰ Prep time : 10 mins, Proofing time : 2-3 hours, 🍲 Air fry time  : 15-20 mins, 🍴 Makes : 10 +

🌾 Ingredients for Donuts Modak :

Dough for Donuts :

  • 1 tsp instant Dry Yeast
  • ¼ cup lukewarm of Water
  • 2 tbsp Demerara Sugar (or any)
  • 2 cups Wheat flour
  • 2-4 tbsp Canola oil
  • 1 tbsp Canola oil
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • Melted White and Dark Chocolate
  • Crushed Nuts (optional)

 Stuffing for Donuts :

  • ¼ cup Desiccated Coconut powder
  • Few drops of dairy-free milk
  • 2 tbsp Gulukand
  • 1 tbsp Fennel seeds powder (optional)

♨️ Preparing Donuts Modak :

  1. Except for chocolate and nuts make a soft dough from the above listed ingredients
  2. Let the dough rise for 2-3 hours in a warm place
  3. Meanwhile mix all the ingredients for stuffing
  4. Once risen, knead for a min and make small balls & put some stuffing
  5. Bring the edges together and start to twist the ball to give it a Modak/triangle shape
  6. Let it rest for another 30 mins
  7. Preheat Air Fryer @ 160°C for 5 mins
  8. Now place modaks in airfryer basket & bake for 10-15 mins @ 140°C or until cooked
  9. Remove & let it cool, likewise prepare all other Modaks

🍽 Assembling Donuts Modak :

  1. Generously spread White or Dark chocolate on the Modaks
  2. Sprinkle nuts serve any these yummylicious Modaks & enjoy with loved ones 😍
