ЁЯЫТ Ingredients for Gajar Halwa Rolls :

For Dough :

  • 1 tsp Dry instant Yeast / рд╕реБрдЦрд╛ рдЦрдореАрд░ (1 рдЪрдореНрдордЪ)
  • 1 tbsp Sugar / рдЪреАрдиреА (1 рдмрдбрд╝рд╛ рдЪрдореНрдордЪ)
  • 1/3 cup lukewarm Water / 1/3 рдХрдк рдЧрд░рдо рдкрд╛рдиреА
  • 1/4 cup Canola Oil / 1/4 рдХрдк рдХреИрдиреЛрд▓рд╛ рддреЗрд▓
  • 5 cups Maida (All-purpose flour) / 1.5 рдХрдк рдореИрджрд╛ (рдСрд▓-рдкрд░реНрдкрд╕ рдЖрдЯрд╛)
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder / 1 рдЫреЛрдЯрд╛ рдЪрдореНрдордЪ рджрд╛рд▓рдЪреАрдиреА рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░

For Halwa :

  • 5 kgs grated Carrots / 1.5 рдХрд┐рд▓реЛ рдХрджреНрджреВрдХрд╕ рдХреА рд╣реБрдИ рдЧрд╛рдЬрд░
  • 150 gms grated Beetroot / 150 рдЧреНрд░рд╛рдо рдХрджреНрджреВрдХрд╕ рдХрд┐рдпрд╛ рд╣реБрдЖ рдЪреБрдХрдВрджрд░
  • 20 pitted Dates / 20 рдмреАрдЬ рдирд┐рдХрд╛рд▓реЗ рд╣реБрдП рдЦрдЬреВрд░
  • 1/3 cup Water / 1/3 рдХрдк рдкрд╛рдиреА

 

For Mawa :

  • 1 tbsp Pure Ghee / 1 рдмрдбрд╝рд╛ рдЪрдореНрдордЪ рд╢реБрджреНрдз рдШреА
  • 3 tbsp Skimmed Milk / 3 рдмрдбрд╝реЗ рдЪрдореНрдордЪ рд╕реНрдХрд┐рдореНрдб рджреВрдз
  • 6 tbsp Skimmed Milk Powder / 6 рдмрдбрд╝реЗ рдЪрдореНрдордЪ рд╕реНрдХрд┐рдореНрдб рдорд┐рд▓реНрдХ рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder / 1 рдЫреЛрдЯрд╛ рдЪрдореНрдордЪ рдЗрд▓рд╛рдпрдЪреА рдкрд╛рдЙрдбрд░

For Garnishing :

  • Frosting, of any choice / рдЕрдкрдиреА рдкрд╕рдВрдж рдХреА рдХреЛрдИ рднреА рдлреНрд░реЙрд╕реНрдЯрд┐рдВрдЧ
  • Popcorn (caramelized) / рдХреИрд░реЗрдорд▓рд╛рдЗрдЬреНрдб рдкреЙрдкрдХреЙрд░реНрди
  • Dried Rose Petals / рд╕реВрдЦреЗ рдЧреБрд▓рд╛рдм рдХреА рдкрдВрдЦреБрдбрд╝рд┐рдпрд╛рдВ

тЩия╕П Quick preparation steps Gajar Halwa Rolls :

  1. For Dough, combine above listed dough ingredients, knead it and proof for 3 hours.
  2. For Halwa, soften the carrots and beetroot in a pressure cooker and give it 2 whistles. Transfer to a wok to evaporate the water, should take 20 mins. Blend dates & water, add to wok and cook for another 7 mins. To make Mawa, whisk the listed ingredients and cook for 10 mins to form a paste. Now put in wok, add nuts and cook for another 7 mins. Halwa/carrots pudding is ready.
  3. To make Rolls, flatten the dough, spread generous amount of halwa, nuts, dried rose petals. Roll it lengthwise and slice. Place it in a greased tin.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 200┬░C for 5 mins. Place the tin and bake at 150┬░C for 25 mins.
  5. Once baked let it cool on a wired rack.

 

ЁЯН╜ Assembling the Gajar Halwa Rolls :

  1. Place the rolls on a serving plate.
  2. Now apply generous amount of frosting.
  3. Garnish with popcorns, nuts and dried rose petals.
  4. Serve them warm or at room temperature, they taste yum.
