⏰ Prep Time : 10 + 10 mins, 🍲 Air fry Time : 30 + 30 mins, 🍴 Servings : 6-8 slices
🌾 Ingredients for Heart for a Heart 🎂 :
❤️ Heart cake :
- Semolina : ½ cup
- Coconut Milk Powder (or any) : 2 tbsp
- Demerara Sugar (any) : ½ cup
- Vanilla Essence : 1 tsp
- Cardamom powder : 1 tsp
- Baking Powder : ½ tsp
- Baking Soda : ¼ tsp
- Water : ¼ cup
- Beetroot water : ¼ cup (squeeze grated beets)s
- Canola Oil : 2 tbsp + 1 tsp for greasing
Glaze :
- Water : little (as needed)
- Powdered Sugar : ¼ cup
- 🍓 Strawberry : 1
♨️ Preparing Heart for a Heart :
- To make little heart cakes, whisk gently all the listed ingredients & form a thick batter
- Grease a square tin and pour the batter
- Preheat air fryer @ 150° C for 5 mins & place the tin in it
- Air fry @ 140° C for 30 mins or until toothpick comes out clean
- Remove tin from air fryer, cool on a wired rack & using heart cookie cutter cut into shapes
- Don’t discard left-over cake slice, I’ll tell you how to make your cake look beautiful 😎
- Lets make the outer layer by using the same ingredients, whisk it, pour in a squared tin
- Now horizontally start placing in the heart-shaped cake slices
- Air fry @ 140° C for 30 mins, remove on wired rack once baked
🍽 Assembling Heart for a Heart :
- Demould the cake gently once cooled
- To make glaze, whisk sugar with little water until desired pouring consistency is reached
- Pour glaze over cake and serve by sprinkling cake crumble on the sides & strawberry on top
