Lupine Beans Chat

While enjoying a deep-fried, high-fat calories chat we tend overlook the fact how unhealthy it is. Introducing Fat-Free Fibrous Lupine Beans Chat. Lupine contains Fiber which inhibits appetite and thus keeps our stomach satisfied throughout the day. Ideal to eat before starting a long-day fast

Cooking time – 40 mins, Serves – 4

Ingredients :

  1. 1 crushed Garlic
  2. ½ small Onion diced
  3. 2 Tbsp Tomato puree
  4. Spices – Asafoetida, Salt, White Pepper powder, Coriander powder, Cloves, Fennel powder (add as per taste)
  5. 1 + 1 Tsp. Canola Oil
  6. 1 Tbsp Water
  7. ½ cup of ready-made Lupine beans
  8. 4 – small Bell Peppers Diced – Green, Yellow, Orange & Red

For Garnishing :

  1. White Sesame Seeds
  2. Black Sesame Seeds

How to prepare Lupine Beans Chat :

  1. Pre-heat Air-fryer @ 200 degrees
  2. In a separate bowl mix well bell peppers, 1 tsp oil & spices
  3. Place them in air-fryer and roast for 15 mins @ 180 degrees or until they are sweet & crunchy
  4. Taste Lupine Beans before using them. If you find them hard then pressure cook accordingly
  5. Heat a Wok & add 1 tsp oil
  6. Add a pinch of asafoetida & let it infuse for less than 1 min in oil, allowing it to release it’s aroma
  7. Now add Garlic & roast for 2-3 mins, until it becomes light golden
  8. Add Onions & roast for 5 mins, until it’s translucent
  9. Then, add tomato puree & all spices (pick the spices of your choice)
  10. Put 1 tbsp of water and mix well
  11. Once Tomato starts separating from oil, it’s time to add Lupine beans
  12. Toss them well & cook for 10 mins, letting the spices incorporate into Lupine beans
  13. Finally add the roasted bell peppers & toss them
  14. Cook for another 5 mins & remove from flame

How to serve Lupine Beans Chat :

  1. Take 4 Ramekin bowls or any serving dish
  2. With the help of a Ladle place cooked chat & sprinkle some white & black Sesame Seeds
