Makhane Dry Fruits Barfi

⏰ Prep Time : 20 mins, 🍲 Baking Time : 7 to 10 mins, 🍴 Servings : 5 to 7 burfi depending upon moulds used

🌾 Ingredients for Makhane Dry Fruits Barfi :

  • Β½ cup Makhana
  • ΒΌ cup freshly grated coconut
  • Honey or Dates syrup, as per taste
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • Chopped nuts (Cranberry, Almonds, Pistachios, Cashews, Sunflower & Muskmelon seeds, or any of your choice)
  • Dash of canola oil to grease silicon moulds

♨️ Preparing Makhane Dry Fruits Barfi :

  1. Pre-heat Ari Fryer @ 180Β° C for 5 mins
  2. Place makhanas in the air fryer basket and bake @ 160Β° C for 5-7 mins
  3. Flip in between to avoid over roasting of makhanas and roast more until crisp
  4. Once done remove from the basket
  5. Grind the makhanas, I have coarsely grinded as I like a bite in my burfi πŸ˜‹, you can make a fine powder as preferred
  6. Dry roast coconut and chopped nuts in a pan on a low flame for 5 mins and remove in a bowl
  7. Now is the time for some action 😎 mix grinded makhanas, roasted coconut, nuts & cardamom powder and mix well
  8. Add honey as per taste you should find mixture forming a sticky ball

🍽 Assembling of Makhane Dry Fruits Barfi :

  1. Grease silicon moulds, I took donut moulds for that nice hollow effect in the burfi
  2. Take generous amount of mixture and fill the moulds
  3. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours or until its set
  4. Take a serving plate and demould the burfi
  5. Serve this delight and enjoy with your loved ones πŸ€—
