🌾 Ingredients for Molten Lava cake :
Dry Ingredients :
- ½ cup All purpose flour (APM)
- 2 heaped tbsp Cocoa powder
- A pinch Salt
- ½ tsp Baking soda
Wet Ingredients :
- ½ cup cold Water
- 3 tbsp Canola Oil
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- ⅓ cup Powdered white Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
To dust ramekins / moulds :
- 1 tsp Butter
- 2 tbsp APM
For Molten effect :
- 50 gms / 10 small cubes of chocolate
For garnishing :
- 🍓 Berries (any)
- White powdered sugar
♨️ Preparing Molten Lava cake :
- Grease ramekins with butter and freeze it for 10 mins, then dust with APM and let it remain in freezer until you are ready to pour the molten batter into it
- In 2 separate bowls combine dry and wet ingredients
- Incorporate wet ingredients into dry and gently whisk it, do not over-mix
- Now divide the molten batter into ramekins and dunk in 5 small cubes of chocolate each, freeze again for 2 mins
- Preheat air fryer @ 180° C for 5 mins & place ramekins in it
- Air fry @ 180° C for sharp 10 mins and remove it, should be wobbly inside but firm outside
🍽 Assembling Molten Lava cake :
- Let it rest on kitchen counter for just 1 min
- Take a serving plate and place on ramekin, flip it upside down, cake should easily demould
- Dust some powdered sugar and sever with strawberry & enjoy the dedicant flavour 😋
