πŸŽ‚ Pinnata Cake

Celebrate your πŸŽ‚ Birthday with 𝐏𝐒𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐚 π‚πšπ€πž a must cake for food lovers. Its πŸ˜‹ crunchy yet gooey, moist yet decadent flavour baked in 𝗔𝗢𝗿 π—™π—Ώπ˜†π—²π—Ώ will make you gobble it.

⏰ Prep Time : 10 mins, 🍲 Air fry Time : 30 mins, 🍴 Makes : 1 cake

🌾 Ingredients for Pinnata Cake :

  • Β½ cup Granola
  • Β½ cup Semolina
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Β½ tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 tbsp Cacao Powder
  • 1 cup Water / Milk / dairy-free milk
  • Β½ tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 2 tbsp Canola Oil
  • 1 pack of White Chocolate + 2 tbsp for cake batter
  • 1 tsp Pineapple/any Jam
  • Chocolate balls/sprinkles for decoration

♨️ Preparing Pinnata Cake :

  1. For dry ingredients grind granola & semolina coarsely & transfer to a bowl, add cardamom powder, baking powder, baking soda, cacao powder & mix well.
  2. For wet ingredients, whisk gently water/milk, oil & white chocolate.
  3. Gradually incorporate wet ingredients to dry & fold lightly to avoid any lumps.
  4. Take a greased cake tin (I took heart shape) & pour the cake batter.
  5. Preheat air fryer @180Β° C for 5 mins.
  6. Place cake tin in air fryer to bake @140Β° C for 30 mins.
  7. Check with skewer to ensure its evenly baked & remove it on wired rack to cool down.
  8. Lets prepare shell for Pinnata cake, melt white chocolate make sure its lump free, pour to the heart-shaped silicon mould, swirl to cover the edges, pour-off excess chocolate & freeze it for 10 mins.
  9. Once 1st layer of chocolate is set, pour some more chocolate, swirl & freeze another 10 mins.

🍽 Assembling Pinnata Cake :

  1. Demould the cake once cooled.
  2. Now apply warm pineapple jam on cake for that moist taste.
  3. Demould the chocolate shell & place it on the cake.
  4. Garnish with chocolate balls/sprinkles.
  5. Now with a hammer smash till you break the chocolate shell to enjoy the delicious cake πŸ˜‹.

Useful Tips :

  • Add little water/milk at a time to avoid cake batter becoming runny.
  • If you like you’re the top cake to be crispy then cook for another 5 mins.
