🌹Rose Flower Bread🥖

Enjoy healthy 🌹 Rose Flower Bread 🥖 baked in Air Fryer using natural food colors🎨. Say 🙅No to synthetic colors & make vegetarian food using ingredients available in your 🍽️kitchen.

⏰ Prep Time : 10 mins, 🍲 Air fry Time : 20 mins, 🍴 Makes : 15, depending upon shape

🌾 Ingredients for Rose Flower Bread :

  • We will make 4 dough(s) by using below fixed ingredients for each dough :
    • 2 cups Wheat flour
    • ¼ cup Water
    • 1 tsp instant dry Yeast
    • 1 tsp Demerara Sugar, or any
    • Condiments (Salt, Black Pepper powder)
    • 1 tbsp Canola Oil & some for brushing
  • For natural bread colours use ¼ tsp Turmeric powder for Yellow, ¼ cup spinach puree – Green & 1 tbsp cocoa powder – Brown

♨️ Preparing Rose Flower Bread :

  1. Lets begin with plain dough, dissolve yeast & sugar in lukewarm water, gradually add flour & knead for 5 mins.
  2. Coat oil & cover with cling film & let it rest for 2-3 hours / until doubled in size.
  3. Turmeric dough, use same dough proportion & add Turmeric, knead & rest it 2-3 hours.
  4. Green dough, take all ingredients but ½ the proportion of water & add Spinach puree, knead & rest it 2-3 hours. Because spinach puree is runny too
  5. Brown dough, use cocoa powder, knead & rest it 2-3 hours.
  6. Once dough(s) are risen, make 1 small ball from each dough & flatten them individually with a rolling pin. Use cookie cutter to get equal circle shapes.
  7. Vertically lay 4 circles, slightly overlapping each other, apply little water to seal overlapping edges.
  8. Roll them in a cylindrical shape & using a knife cut it into half.
  9. You will get a 🌹 flower shape, brush oil & rest it for 30 mins. Likewise make rest.
  10. Preheat air fryer @160° C for 5 mins.
  11. Place these breads in air fryer & bake @150° C for 10 mins, flip it upside down & bake 10 more mins, or until cooked.
  12. Take out from air fryer & let it cool on wired rack.

🍽 Assembling Rose Flower Bread :

  1. You can enjoy warm or at room temperature 😊.
  2. Serve by drizzling chocolate or cheese spread, or eat as it is, just tastes yum😋.

Useful Tips :

  • Add flour if dough becomes runny.
  • Proofing dough at both the steps is important for spongy & bouncy bread texture & to retain flower shape.
  • If you like crispy bread, then bake for another 5 mins.
