NO Cream, Effortless, Silky-Rich Tapioca Mousse
Prep / Cooking/Presentation-30-40 mins, Serves-8 small glasses
Ingredients :
- 1/3 Cup soaked Tapioca over-night or soak for 6 hours
- 3 Cups Skimmed Milk
- 1/2 Cup Sugar
- 1 small Beetroot Boiled & Mashed
- 1 Tsp Cocoa Powder
- 2 Tbsp Hung-Curd
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
- 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
For Garnishing :
- Low-fat cream
- Nuts
- Chocolate
How to prepare Tapioca Mousse :
- Add milk in a Heavy-Bottom pan & bring to 1 boil
- Add strained Tapioca & stir well
- Bring to 1 boil and reduce flame
- Stir every 2 mins to avoid it sticking to the pan
- It should be Translucent in 10 mins
- Else cook for more mins until it’s translucent
- Add sugar, Cinnamon and stir well
- Cook until it thickens.
- Remove from flame and & cool it
- Whisk hung-curd until soft peaks forms
- Gently fold in Tapioca and divide into 3 bowls
- Add Cocoa to 1st, Beetroot to 2nd & Vanilla Essence to 3rd bowl & fold gently
How to arrange Layers :
- Let go the Artist in you
- Take a small serving glass & enjoy decorating by combining any colored Mousse
- Top with Nuts or Cream or Chocolate Flakes
- Enjoy Chill
