+Medium-size mashed Potato (1)

+1/3 cup Green Peas

+1 Carrot cube

Finely Chopped Onion (1) Tomato (1) Garlic (1/4 tsp) & Ginger (1/4 tsp) – Vital components lending flavours, textures, and depth.

♨️ Quick preparation steps :

  1. Combine phyllo dough and melted ghee, set aside.
  2. Sauté chopped mixed vegetables, onions, tomatoes, ginger, garlic, and seasonings with canola oil. After ten minutes, remove from stove.
  3. Dry roast flour for five minutes on low flame, whisk while adding oil, condiments and milk, bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Preheat air fryer @ 160° C for 5 mins.
  5. Slightly coat baking tin with ghee, place 1 layer of shredded phyllo dough, top-up with veggies mixture, generously pour white sauce and cover with another layer of dough.
  6. Bake @ 150° C for 25 mins and continue baking for additional 5 mins until golden brown.
  7. Once cooked, remove it on a wired rack to cool

🍽 Assembling :

  1. Once knafeh is cooled, carefully place it on a serving plate.
  2. Drizzle some white sauce over the top of the crunchie delight, followed by a sprinkle of freshly chopped green onions. Finally, serve the delicious dish warm for enhanced taste and texture experience. Bon appétit! 😋
