🛒 Ingredients Vermicelli Cheesy Modak :

For filling :

  • 1/3 cup low-fat Mozzarella cheese; 1/3 कप लो-फैट मोज़ेरेला चीज़
  • 2 tbsp low-fat Cream cheese; 2 टेबलस्पून लो-फैट क्रीम चीज़
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder; 1/4 टीस्पून इलायची पाउडर
  • 1 tsp Kewra water; 1 टीस्पून केवड़ा जल

For Slurry :

  • 2 tbsp Wheat flour; 2 टेबलस्पून गेहूं का आटा
  • Water for thick consistency; पानी

For coating :

  • 1/3 cup Crushed vermicelli; 1/3 कप सेंवई

For Syrup :

  • 1/3 cup Sugar; 1/3 कप चीनी
  • 1/3 cup Water; 1/3 कप पानी
  • 1 Cardamom pod; 1 इलायची का दाना

For Garnishing :

  • 1 tbsp crushed Pistachios; 1 टेबलस्पून पिसे हुए पिस्ता
  • 1 tbsp Dried rose petals; टेबलस्पून सूखे गुलाब की पंखुड़ियां

♨️ Quick preparation steps Vermicelli Cheesy Modak :

  1. Start by preparing the Cheese mixture. Take Mozzarella cheese, cream cheese, cardamom powder and few drops of Kewra water for flavor and delightful aroma. Mix well and shape the mixture into small balls, giving them a modak or hat-like shape.
  2. In a separate bowl, make a Slurry by mixing wheat flour and water until you have a smooth, thick consistency.
  3. Now, it’s time to coat the cheese balls. Dip each cheese ball into the slurry, ensuring it’s fully covered, and then generously coat it with crushed vermicelli. Repeating this process will give you that extra cheesy, crispy layer that’s so delicious.
  4. Baking time, preheat your air fryer to 200° C for 5 mins. Place the coated cheese modaks inside and bake them at 150° C for 20 mins.
  5. For sugar syrup, in a saucepan, combine sugar, water, and cardamom pod. Boil for 5 mins.
  6. Once the modaks are golden brown, remove them from the air fryer on a wired rack.
